Asa Data Engineer, you will be part of our Data & Engineering team and workwith a passionate data team to take MLS fan data to the next level. You willbring your expertise in data management and technical expertise with tools likeSnowflake and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support the League's overall datastrategy goals.
RoleResponsibilities
?Understand MLS goalsand requirements and how that impacts the Fan enterprise data model and fancustomer record
?Help to define andimplement the League data management process including establishing dataquality metrics and benchmarks & tools, improving the fan golden recordprocess data onboarding and data transformation rules
? Working with Leagueand Club marketing, data, technology, and other key stakeholders to supportday-to-day business requirements utilizing MLS data warehouse and Salesforcetools like Marketing Cloud and DMP
Qualifications
?Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience
?5 yearshand-on-cloud-based software application development
?Snowflake SnowPro Corecertification required, data engineer certification is desirable
?Strong SQL Skillsand Data Modeling skills
?Experience settingup new data sources and migrating data as well as establishing or fine tuningETL processes in Snowflake
?Track record of building& maintaining products involving complex data systems & APIs as well asrecommending practical solutions
?Ability to workeffectively in a fast paced, team environment
?Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, bothverbally and in writing
?Demonstrateddecision-making and problem-solving skills
?Detail-oriented withthe ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
?High-level ofcommitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity andcompliance
?Ability to worknon-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
DesiredSkills
?Prior experienceworking with Data Warehouse environment
?Prior experiencewith API Integrations between SFMC and external services using SFMC SDK,Mulesoft, Apache Kafka or equivalent
?Knowledge of thesport of soccer
