- The primary role of a data engineer is to develop algorithms, models, and other analytics solutions.
- Data acquisition - assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
- Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Perform statistical analysis or develop a model (including ML model) of the data.
- Generate a forecast (based on the model).
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with related technical issues and support analytics infrastructure needs.
- Experience in Statistical data analysis, and ML/AL modeling.
- Programming languages - Python(required). SQL (preferred), SAS(preferred)
- Experience working with AWS (required).
