The Unplanned Repairs Analytics group engages with various analytics work across the enterprise to help solve the technical and business problems. The primary role of a data engineer is developing algorithms, models, and other analytics solutions.

Specific responsibilities are
 

Data acquisition - assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Perform statistical analysis or develop a model (including ML model) of the data
Generate a forecast (based on the model)
Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with related technical issues and support analytics infrastructure needs.
Typical Day:

Work with project teams and team leads on their data needs.
Technical Skills:

Statistical data analysis (3+ years)
ML/AL modeling (3+ years)
Programming languages - Python(required). SQL(preferred), SAS(preferred) (5+ years)
Experience working with AWS (required) (3+ years)
