The MuleSoft Dev Lead collaborates with the project team and the client to translate business requirements into working Salesforce solutions supported by integrations with MuleSoft’s AnyPoint platform. The Developer uses a combination of declarative configuration and programmatic development to achieve these goals. Declarative activities might include user setup and maintenance, of MuleSoft environments.  Must have experience working with enterprise level implementations in large, complex environments.

 

Responsibilities:

•            Understand Business Requirements, perform impact analysis and assess technical challenges/feasibility in achieving required business outcome

•            Work with clients to design, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions on the MuleSoft AnyPoint platform

•            Design API layers, data model and specifications

•            Develop APIs using Mulesoft platform components (ie: API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and Anypoint MQ)Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management

•            Migrations using Mule Anypoint platform

•            Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage

•            Troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and fix/work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed

•            Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures

•            Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & cloud integration operations and delivery

•            Develop detailed technical design documentation of the implemented solution

•            Participate with onshore / offshore teams across project phases

•            Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues

•            Explain complex technical issues to project managers, developers, team leads and architects in an easy to understand manner, and recommend clearly thought out solutions.

•            Ability to collaborate with large to small development teams in multi-phase, heterogonous work environments, with multiple work streams

•            Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery

 

Skills and Qualifications Required

 

•            6+ years of experience with MuleSoft (RAML)Development experience with APIs (ie: REST, SOAP, etc)

•            Experience of development experience in Java/J2EE/JSE frameworks

•            Experience with ESB solutions (ie: TIBCO, WebMethods, Dell Boomi

•            Experience with the following technologies: XML, JSON, Tomcat, Apache, SOA integration

•            Experience with RDBMS and data modelling

•            DevOps experience with Jenkins or Docker

•            Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes etc.,

•            Strong knowledge in the messaging frameworks such as Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ etc.

•            Strong experience in Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring for end to end process execution

•            Strong experience in designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs

•            Salesforce Administrator / Developer Certifications

•            Knowledge with one or more on-premise / SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)
