This position supports the development and deployment of technology for a Fixed Income Trading desk. Experience in Fixed Income and a willingness to understand requirements and validate them through a QA process for both custom development and vendor components.
Major Responsibilities:
- Create test cases and scenarios to validate requirements
- Execute test plans
- Understand requirements and components to assist in the hand over of the system to the support team
- Work with developers/vendors/traders for the validation of requirements through a QA process
Required Qualifications:
- Experience validating software and or vendor systems for Fixed Income lines of business
- Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl to automate testing procedures
- Understanding of trading activities
- Experience testing applications for a trading floor testing mission critical applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience testing both vendor systems and custom developed applications
