Have 3-8 years of experience in Cloud Operate and RDS
- Maintain and Management Activities of AWS RDS/Aurora DB and should be well versed to perform the following tasks
- Configuring the parameter group
- Managing IP traffic using a security group
- Auditing the database log files
- Maintenance and management activities
- Planning backup and recovery strategies
- User management
- Monitoring the database
- Analyze database workloads, identify problem spots, and design solutions to address these problems using monitoring and alerting tools for cloud based and on-premises deployments
- Streamline redundant operations and automate recurring tasks through scripting and use of modern technologies
- Know about Database deployment best practices - Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required.
- Must be able improve performance. - Ability to diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers)
- Strong understanding of overall AWS infrastructure and services
- Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action.
