JOB DETAIL
As a member of the Application Development Team, the DevOps Engineer is expected to work with Dev, QA and Production Operations to serve as a technical SME responsible for activities to support our Hospital mobile application.
Automate infrastructure and platform service offerings.
Create the design, implementation, and ongoing management of systems that deliver against strict requirements for functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Serve as a technical escalation point for critical pre-production issues and drive resolution of problems in the Development, and QA environments.
Adopt, customize and implement industry standard DevOps policies and DevOps procedures.
Develop and define process and procedure to proactively manage all pre-production and production environments.
Work with multiple in-house Software Configuration Management (SCM) teams enterprise-wide to assist in new architectural needs and optimize existing environments to improve workflow and productivity.
Must haves:
Anthos Google experience
Deploying jenkins on GKE (kubernetes)
Developer experience – Intermediate level or above. Which usually means 4 years.
Familiarity with containers and container management solutions.
Linux 3 years
Nice to have:
Kubernetes operations experience. The more the better, but not necessarily critical.
Experience developing k8s operators/controllers, or other kubernetes extensions.
