Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the servicesof 1 Project Manager 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), whomeets the general qualifications of Project Manager 2, ProjectManagement and the specifications outlined in this document for the TexasHealth and Human Services Commission.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "worksmade for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and HumanServices Commission  and may include pre-selection requirements thatpotential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminalbackground checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and HumanServices Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, whichoccur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projectswithin a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, overseeand document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Projectmanagers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the jobdone.

?This contractor is the Project Manager of the CustomerRelationship Management (CRM) Application, which is a Salesforce applicationfor DSHS that is used to manage and track the allocation of staff and resourcesthroughout the state-wide DSHS network. Implements standard project managementindustry practices for Agile Teams. Understands the PMI framework as well ashow to establish a project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum)organizations. Understands business and technical objectives of a project andwork closely with multiple key project stakeholders. Communicates to clientsand IT teams. Creates project charters, work plans, and other related projectartifacts as necessary. Provides technical support both during work hours andon-call as necessary. Be able to comprehend and communicate complex technicaldesigns and implementations as well as complex business processes. Develops andmakes presentations as required to leadership and oversight entities. Serves inan analyst capacity as required. Some on-call support may be required dependingon project phase.

The Worker will need to perform the following tasks andassignments: 

• Overseeing design and development work 

• Managing the project with feature driven Agilemethodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring projectassignments and progresses align with project timelines

• Developing and managing project plans 

• Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuringresolution of issues and removal of project barriers 

• Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) andconducting regular project team status meetings 

• Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensurebusiness requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, andfacilitate the SDLC process 

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships withproject sponsors and stakeholders.

• Possessing strong communication and presentation skills

• Possessing strong teamwork skills

• Transferring working knowledge to current staff
