Experienced with CI/CD Pipelines. You have experience working with and operating build, CI (TeamCity and GitLab) and version control systems (Perforce and Git) running at scale in the cloud (AWS).
Troubleshooter and Detective. You are able to look at numerous build and test signals, follow leads and tie threads together to promptly investigate, debug and identify what might have gone wrong.
Team Player and Coordinator. You are comfortable working, communicating and building relationships with teams both local and remote. When a pipeline fails, you often won't be able to solve an issue on your own, so you'll need to pull together the right team of people to get things working again quickly.
Calm and Collected. When things go south, you’ll be in the hot seat, so you'll need to be able to keep your head when those around you may be losing theirs.
Experienced with debugging and reading code. Even though you won’t be developing code in this role, you will need to know how to debug code, review build logs, perform code back-outs and support other developers. And your feedback on opportunities to improve our operational efficiency and tooling will always be welcome.
