- Work on a fast-growing team pioneering vehicle software for drivers and passengers
- Build stable and elegant applications with the newest tech stacks
- Own features end-to-end: from inception to design, implementation, and launch
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, DevOps, Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, and QA Engineers
- Contribute code and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architectural discussions, designs, and proposals
- Contribute to documentation of applications and services
- Troubleshoot issues and create postmortems
Qualifications
- At least 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Understanding REST API design and security
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, databases, and caching
- Experience with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture
- Familiarity with distributed systems and data replication techniques
- Mastery in one of the following: Go, Python, TypeScript, Java
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Plus if knowledgable or experienced with Kafka, Redis, SQL, MongoDB, React
