Primaryresponsibility will be in the design, development, and support of Lynx.

Lynx is the ETLlayer in the Nomura Market Risk Platform. Its purpose is to source trade, risk,and reference data from different platforms, blend, augment and enrich thisdata, and then generate different model specific outputs for other Market Riskcomponents, such as risk calculation and aggregation engines to consume. 

Desired Skills:

?        BS/MS inComputer Science, Engineering, or related field. MS preferred.

?        Experience working in the financial industry withknowledge of Financial Products (FI, Equities, and Derivatives), Market Risk,VaR, PnL

?        Currentextensive Python experience (5 years) working with complex language constructsand libraries such as Panda/Numpy. Working with Python in a multi-processdistributed environment is a plus.

?        Recent Javaexperience (5 years). Knowledge of JDBC, JMS, Spring framework

?        ExperiencewithPython and Java in distributed Service Oriented architectures

?        Knowledgeofgeneral multi-threading/multi-processing constructs

?        ExperiencewithMessaging technologies and products such as JMS, Tibco, Solace

?        KnowledgeofLinux, shell scripting

?        Ability to optimizeand generate complex queries using SQL

?        ExperiencewithAWS Technologies

?        Ability to troubleshootand fix issues in a timely manner
