OraclePL/SQL Developer - PLSQL development for enterprise application that integratesdata from multiple data sources into a cohesive analytical data warehouse to providebusiness intelligence applications. Full development life cycle and productionsupport / application maintenance in Agile rapid development environment.
Dutiesand Responsibilities:
?Developcomplex database processes with PL/SQL containing batch or ETL functionality
?Developand enhance an existing DataMart in an OLAP schema
?Requirementsgathering, design, development, testing and documentation
?Designlogical and physical ERD diagrams, process flow diagrams, or related dataprocessing documentation
?LeverageOracle 11G/12C features to their fullest on a large-scale multi-terabyte system
?AssistDecision Support team members including DBAs, database developers, requirementsanalysts, and others, in understanding data and meeting user requirements
?Participatein project work groups with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders tounderstand data specific needs
?Participatein performance tuning activities
?Provideproduction deployment and production support as needed
?Analyzingand converting business requirements to technical requirements, followed bydesigning and implementing the solutions
?Involvedin all aspects of the software development life cycle; demonstrate abilities tolearn both the business processes as well as new and existing technologies
?Workon sprint team in agile, rapid development and deployment environment.
?Supportproduction application - investigate and resolve production inquiries andissues. Requires flexible schedule.
Qualificationsand Experience Required:
?5 years of experience in designing, creating and developing Oracle databasesystems
?10years overall work experience
?Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Science or related IT field
?Strongprogramming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions,triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, andparallel processing
?Solidexperience designing partitioned and non-partitioned tables, indexes, temporarytables and external tables to maximize storage and performance
?Experiencein developing logical and physical data models
?Experiencedesigning OLAP systems
?StrongSQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills
?Excellentanalytic, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
?Detailoriented with strong problem solving skills
?Abilityto analyze complex and large amounts of data
?Strongcommunications skills (both verbal & written)
