- Subject matter expert in MS SQL Server
- Provide leadership in creating roadmaps and future state architecture of SQL Server platform collaborating with stake holders and business partners.
- Participating proactively in daily stand-up meetings, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal team in the assessment of new technologies and their operationalization
- Researches emerging trends and new technologies to identify potential improvements; develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT database related spending and initiatives.
- Adapts communication approach for audiences at multiple internal and external levels
- Builds long-term relationships within team and amongst peers by creating an environment of safety and innovation

- Design, implement and monitor disaster recovery plans as it pertains to the production database environment.
- Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues.
- Give design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes.
- Strong TSQL and PowerShell knowledge; able to write and read as well as diagnose, develop and troubleshoot scripts.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in MSSQL Server in an enterprise level environment.
- MS Certification
- Certified in Cloud technology (AWS/AZURE)
- Lead level expertise in MSSQL database platform
