- Experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities
- Hands on experience in Production Support environment
- Knowledge on ITIL Process
- 4 to 6 years of experience in supporting and maintaining applications
- Troubleshooting Knowledge and problem solving techniques
- 3+ years of Financial domain experience is a must
Roles and Responsibilities: The selected individual must meet the following criteria’s:
- Ensure all Batch Cycle SLA’s and Application Support deliverables are met in the Mainframe Platform
- Collaborate with support teams, product teams and Business as required to handle issues
- Actively participate in support specific projects such as Incident Reduction, Batch Cycle Optimization, Disaster Recovery Planning & Execution and Holiday Processing, etc.
- Report daily issues and SLA breaches to management
- Explore Opportunities to Improve Application Performance and Stability
- Working on Incident, Change and Problem Management activities
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Technology
