Develop and automate high-performance data processing systems and visualization to ensure reliability and meet critical business requirements.
Design, develop, implement, document and support Data & Analytics systems which adhere to the industry best practices.
Lead data engineering projects, and overall strategy for data governance, security, privacy, quality, and retention.
Triage and resolve issues reported by Risk, Operations, and other business stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and continue promoting data engineering and analytics tooling & standards.
Skills Qualifications:
5 years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, and other areas directly relevant to data engineering.
Advanced SQL, ETL pipelines, Data modeling & design, SQL performance tuning in OLAP and Data Warehouse Data Lake environments
Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues
Strong SQL skills, and experience with NoSQL databases
Experience with Software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, TFS, etc.), CI CD, automated unit testing, Dev Ops
Experience in cloud infrastructure using AWS Azure GCP
Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tool experience
Quick learner. Mindset to adopt newer technologies in the field with POCs
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills able to effectively collaborate with technical and business partners.
