JOB DETAIL

Lead Agile development projects independently. Projects mustmeet identified business needs and meet agreed to quality parameters. Guide Scrumteams using sound agile practices under the guidance of ISO’s agile projectmanagement framework.

Responsibilities

•                   Takesresponsibility for the successful delivery of the project.

•                   Servesas liaison between Development and Business to ensure smooth communication andprioritization of work.

•                   LeadsAgile teams to achieve the objectives of the project.

•                   Makeconsistent use of the latest version of the project management guide andimprove adherence to best practice.

•                   Worksto continuously improve the team, both technically and culturally.

•                   Proactivelytakes the initiative to identify and resolve issues impacting the developmentteam

•                   Identifies,assesses and manages risks to the success of the project, including theprovision and use of contingency for those risks which are to be managed.

•                   Communicateswith all stakeholders of the project based on their needs.

Skills and Knowledge

•                   Demonstratea business-focused approach, achievement of business objectives, and theidentification of further business opportunities.

•                   Proficientknowledge of Agile Project Life Cycles (Scrum, Kanab) and tools (Confluence, Jiri).

•                   Proficientin Agile Values and Principles as a mind-set and in practice.

•                   Criticalthinking skills, specifically the ability to identify issues, propose solutionsand lead the effort in resolving the issues.

•                   Excellentinterpersonal and communication, stakeholder management skills, demonstratedability to use influence to keep teams focused and resolve conflicts.

•                   Displayadaptability and flexibility to deal with the non-routine or unexpectedsituations

•                   Familiaritywith basic development technologies and skills

•                   Modelsbehaviour that aligns with Agile values and principles

•                   Abilityto negotiate in reference to time management and deliverables.

  Experience

•                   Provenexperience serving as an Agile Project Manager and/or Scrum Master for softwaredevelopment teams, understanding of Agile Project Management concepts andvalues.

•                   ProficientScrum Master, with demonstrated ability to recognize obstacles as they impedethe team’s progress and to employ techniques to coach the team to continuouslyimprove and self-organize.

•                   Workingexperience managing risks and opportunities within a project.
