?        Lead and participate in the design and implementation oflarge and/or architecturally significant applications.

?        Championcompany standards and best practices. Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practices.

?        Build partnershipsacross the application, business and infrastructure teams.

?        Developprogramming specifications.  Design, codeand unit test application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)best practices.

?        Completeestimates and work plans independently as appropriate for design, development,implementation and rollout tasks.

?        Createtechnical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remainscurrent throughout all phases of the SDLC.

?        Participatein all phases of system testing.

?        Communicatewith the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are managed appropriatelyand that completed assignments are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

•                 Proven success developing Java web applications associated with largescale projects

•                 3-5 years of rapid webdevelopment, using HTML, Java, JSON, and Spring Boot framework

•                 2 years experience with SQL

•                 High-functioning, self-driven,motivated and curious.

•                 Develops with supportabilityin mind.

•                 Do not wait for others tosolve a problem – get behind the wheel and drive the solution!

•                 Excels in team relatedcompetencies including: Solution Architecture, Data warehousing, Data Modeling,Development, Testing and Documentation.

Preferred (nice to have) skills:

•                 Background in building anddesigning REST APIs

•                 An understanding of theTCP/HTTP protocols

•                 No SQL Database background isa plus

•                 Experience with load testing(Jmeter, etc.)

•                 A solid understanding of webservice development processes

•                 A solid understanding of Javaand Spring
