Responsibilities:
You will be working on our upcoming MS Azure based digital platform on ABB Ability for Electrification Business area of ABB for establishing common digital platform for all EL products offering switching from the existing legacy multiple digital platforms.
You will be setting up device connection to Ability cloud platform for Data Ingestion using the Information Model. Then further you will ingest required data from Ability to ELCP platform Backend. Existing analytics algorithms will be integrated onto ELCP platform thru containerisation as microservices.
You will be testing the algorithms isolated with a
standard input dataset to validate functional working of the model. Then you will be containerizing the existing analytics algorithms as black box set up as azure
microservices and connect to desired data stream and obtain same output on the
platform as tested in standalone.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
equivalent
Minimum 8-10 years of total work experience
Must have 5+ years of hands on experience in Kubernetes
At least 7+ years proven hands-on experience as a Data Ingestion, Integration engineer in Cloud and Edge platform space handling data technologies, application development,docker container, microservices
Must have 2+ years of programming, debugging skills using C#, Python
Must have agile work experience in CI/CD using Devops
Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge
Result oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent team player
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Eagerness to learn new technical concepts
Strong Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, supervision to
achieve the target
Preferred Requirements:
Hands on experience in documentDb, MongoDB, Sparks, Databricks
Basic level knowledge in area of data science, data modelling, machine learning
algorithms
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
