JOB DETAIL

  • Installing and configuring new computers, networks and software.
  • The design and implementation of new solutions and improving the resilience of the current environment
  • Liasing with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
  1. Provide prompt response over technical suppor desk system for requests, incidents and queries.
  2. Single point of contact for all the TI related support for various business units.
  3. Predict, identify and analyze the IT related issues/queries, and to be resolved in a timely manner.
  4. Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  5. Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
  • Maximizing infrastructure performance by monitoring, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with DevOps engineers for optimization.
  • Securing infrastructure by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
  • Reporting infrastructure operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
  • Maintaining inventories of hardware and software.

Role requirements:

  • Experience - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Strong networking knowledge (we allow your actions to speak louder than certificates)
  • Strong communication skills (proactive, patient and clear).
  • Hands on extensive experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 equipment and Linux-based machines.
  • Well-organized and takes ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work at late hours and independently, as and when required.
  • Experience with scripting language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web services, API and IP-based protocols is a plus.
  • Create documentation for the organization to ensure high standards of quality.
  • independently/proactively think of lean techniques to improve tech infrastructure.
