Our Media and Entertainment client is looking to bring on a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with Android development/maintenance. The team will be located across the eastern side of the U.S., so expectations are to work on EST. Most of the daily responsibilities will consist of closing tickets specifically bug fixing, performance issues, and performance tuning. They are looking for a motivated engineer who is open to developing and maintaining new/current features. There will be daily standups to review updates and progress made with the product. The team is very collaborative and conducts code reviews of their peers! For the data analytics integration, they will integrate the data libraries into the frontend to transfer data to the backend for the data engineering team.

Must Haves:

• 5-7 years for in software development
• 3 years' experience with Kotlin in terms of bug fixing, development, adding new features + components
• Experience working with multi-platforms within android applications (Mobile, Android TV, Roku TV, Fire TV)
• Testing experience: creating UI tests and understanding testing from a holistic POV
• Some knowledge of data for API integration

Plusses:

• OTT Streaming industry OR enterprise level application experience (millions of users
• GraphQL, Java, or Apollo is a plus
