About this Role
The full-stack developer will be responsible for developing new features and supporting existing features on the Propel(x) website in the Ruby-on-Rails framework, and you will be working closely with the Product and UI/UX team at Propel(x) located in India and San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust scalable and secure features in Ruby-on-Rails and Postgres
- Implement best practices of test-driven development continuous integration SCRUM refactoring and code standards and so on
- Interface directly with CTO on a daily basis
- Use Asana to manage projects
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of prior professional experience as a Ruby-on-Rails developer
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript HTML CSS and JQuery
- Experience with Postgres databases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Strong independent work-ethic
- Good collaboration skills
- Ability to understand product requirements and build scalable features/functions using the technology stack
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills - this role is expected to develop into a leadership role for Propel(x) Inc.
