Assist in the accounting/book keeping process (use of Tally).
Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, etc.
Adhere to proper accounting methods, new accounting policies, standards, and principles.
Regularly provide accurate and relevant reporting, and analysis of financial reports and statements to the management.
Identify areas for improvement and meet financial accounting objectives.
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Documentation of financial transactions, GST filing, tax return and other financial activities.
Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Requirements-
Bachelors degree in B.Com, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2-3 years of accounting/finance experience.
Should possess good knowledge of taxation and GST laws.
Well versed with accounting software tally etc.
Excellent knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with accounting software.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
