We are hiring for Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Engineers) who are expert in API 675 and/or API 681 with 5 to 15 years experience is the optimum.
Qualification: Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Design, or similar technical discipline, BSc as a minimum. MSc preferred.
- More than five years mechanical engineering and project execution experience specifically - preferably in oil and gas projects, chemical process, or power generation industries.
FUNCTION PURPOSE:
- Perform mechanical engineering tasks within performance targets
- Suggest improvements and standardization of working methods - with special focus on environment, health, safety, quality, and cost.
- Provide leadership/mentorship for mechanical engineers so that they can learn and succeed in their tasks.
- As a mechanical team member, contribute to create a good working environment and a strong team spirit.
- Be conversant and keep up to date with international standards and directives from international institutions such as (but not limited to): IEC, ASME, API, ISO, NORSOK, the EU commission.
- Working knowledge of the Norwegian Bokml language is an advantage.
