Functional Microsoft Great Plains Accounting Software Consultant for a transformation project. They are updating their accounting software, adding functionality, automating processes and systems, and providing system enhancements.
The ideal person will have very strong experience with Great Plains, business knowledge of accounting systems, and is able to start on Monday 10/31. They must be local to Atlanta, able to work on-site two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Role: ERP Transformation Business Systems Analyst
The client is currently using MS Dynamics Great Plains and Blackline for Financial Systems. They want to upgrade and modernize this system. There has not been much done since the implementation about 10 years ago. The Consultant will provide techno-functional expertise and advise the business and stakeholders throughout the transformation process.
Responsibilities:
• Provide techno-functional expertise on the modernization and transformation of MS Dynamics GP for Financials
• Provide expertise in systems and processes to solve business problems, make recommendations to modernize and optimize financial systems
• Participate in the configuration, testing, training and deployment of new system solutions
• Configure Financial Systems to integrate with other platforms
• Administer Dynamics GP Roles & Security
• Identify, understand and highlight risks and dependencies for transformation project
Requirements:
• Strong implementation experience with MS Dynamics GP
• Strong functional knowledge of Financials and Account Payable
• Strong understanding of Accounting and General Ledger
• T-SQL experience - understanding of T-SQL for reporting required, ability to develop in T-SQL preferred
• Ability to provide configuration and design on MS Dynamics GP Financials.
