• Deliver prototypes or proof of concepts in support of data discovery activities 
• Experience working with programming languages (SQL, Python) and cloud databases like Snowflake, AWS  
• Experience working with big data processing platform such as Databricks. 
• Good knowledge in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining. 
• Ability to organize, analyze, and vet data quality with great attention to detail and accuracy 
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product Management and Engineering to define and document clear data definitions and requirements. 
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing 
• Maintain documentation related to data management, classification, definition, etc that supports internal and external objectives. 
• Monitor key data quality metrics using alerting and monitoring tools to detect anomalies. 
• Very good knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau and Looker 
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data. 
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. 
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations 
• Pursue continuous improvement of business processes, using industry “best practices” 
• Verbal and Written communication skills 

Qualifications: 

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques. 
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming ( ETL frameworks) 

• Good understanding and experience in a big data processing platform such as Databricks.
