JOB DETAIL

Partner with Enterprise Architects and Application Dev teams to design Security Architecture for applications and enterprise tech capabilities migrating to and integrating with Azure and O365, achieving high standards of security practices and compliance

Demonstrate expertise in Azure Public Cloud, Cloud Native Design, Microservice Architecture, Containerization, and Non-Functional Requirements

Design security controls using strong knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, FedRAMP, and frameworks like OWASP, ISO, SOX, etc.

Demonstrate expertise in and capability of leading the Azure security architecture program

Be a visible self-starter, someone who gets to know the people, processes, and technologies across a very large environment that includes multiple security architecture teams

Drive the development and adoption of Azure cloud security standards, best practices, and technologies within Enterprise IT infrastructure

Work to develop, enhance and document security architecture, security policies, patterns, procedures, guidelines and standards required to design cloud-based solutions

Support threat modeling and update application security architecture as needed

Manage and engage stakeholders, vendors, and customers when building relationships, process, contracts, etc.

 

 

Required & Preferred Qualifications

 

7-10+ years of total Information Technology & Security experience

5+ Years of experience in Cyber Security field as an Information Security Architect or Cloud Security Architect

3+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Azure as a Cloud Security Architect/Engineer

Strong experience in Cloud Security Architecture, Information Security Architecture, and Systems Architecture

Deep experience building security controls using NIST requirements and assessments

Strong background designing and evaluating security systems, identifying security threats, assessing vulnerabilities, etc. with a primary focus on doing so within Cloud

Knowledge of Security for Containers, APIs, SIEM, Network & NGFWs, Vulnerability Management

Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSK, AZ-500 (Security), AZ-900 (Fundamentals), AZ-303/304 (Solutions Architect), TOGAF
