Seeking a Mainframe Developer who excels in Coding in Mainframe Technologies
Job summary:
Candidate will be responsible for architecting API products for Credit card system.
Candidate must ensure API products are designed and built to high standards, are easy for developers to implement, and can support the widest possible number of use-cases.
The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with multiple teams across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Experience 8+ years
Required Skills:
CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Mainframe Utilities
Nice to have skills: BANKING DOMAIN
Shift Day: 8am - 5pm CST
Roles & Responsibilities:
Demonstrable detailed understanding of design principles and methods, technology and standards.
• Interact with business users and Business Analysts to understand the requirements and create design documents.
• Work with project Managers and development leads to complete assigned tasks and with expected quality and on time.
• In this role, you will: be responsible for documenting the architecture of large and/or complex application systems
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and vendor resources.
• Experience working in an agile work environment.
