Responsible for the following:  This is a senior level position so candidate must be stellar

•             Identifying installation solutions for new databases

•             Determining the requirements for a new database

•             Publishing and/or presenting design reports

•             Producing Architecture diagrams/proof of concepts

•             Identifying areas for improvement in current systems

•             Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines

•             Auditing database regularly to maintain quality

•             Creating systems to keep data secure

Education and Work Experience:

•             A Bachelor’s Degree in a technology area of study; preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics

•             Solid experience in Data domain and it’s underlying capabilities

•             10+ years equivalent work experience

•             5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture and/or Data Warehousing; preferably in on AWS technology stack or shared enterprise data environment

•             Experience with defining patterns/practices/concepts

•             Experience with data quality, data security, data analytics

•             5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL/ data ingestion protocols).

•             5 + years of experience in ETL Development/ Architecture and ETL Tools

•             3 + Experience in architecting data processing applications in cloud hosted infrastructures and cloud services (such as AWS, Azure etc.)

•             Experience with migration of on-prem databases to AWS Postgres, Snap Logic, Aurora DB or Snowflake DB, Glue etc.

•             Experience with database performance tuning, memory optimization, partitioning etc.

•             Deep experience in logical, physical and semantic data modeling of structured and unstructured data

•             Exposure to Mainframe is a plus

•             CRM experience such as Adobe or Salesforce is helpful

•             Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies – Waterfall and Agile

•             Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience

•             Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a team

•             Ability to quickly learn and adapt modeling methods from case studies or other proven approaches
