Education Required: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or related scientific field
10+ years of strong experience in JCL/COBOL/CICS
Strong mainframe skills including COBOL, JCL, CA7, VSAM, TSO/ISPF,
Knowledge and experience with DB2/SQL, FTP, DB2 Connect
HOD, CRIF, Data Studio, RapUp, IBM socket connections, Rexx,
Good analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues
Handle rotational On-Call Support
Write code and unit tests, automation, and conduct code reviews
Write scripts to validate that the code meets technical and functional specifications
Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
Interact and work closely with product manager to devise solutions and break them down into incremental production-ready user stories
Actively participate in Daily Standups, Team Iteration Planning Meetings, Team Retrospectives, and Story Acceptance Sessions
Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
Grow technical capabilities / expertise and provide guidance to other members on the team and the program
