JOB DETAIL

  • Monitor physical web servers for uptime and loading
  • Monitor server performance
  • Keep a check on the violators (Determine patterns first and suggest appropriate counter-steps)
  • Install new servers (software level)
  • Create a monitoring system for subparts (FTP, LiteSpeed, Bitninja, CloudLinux OS, MySQL, R1Soft)
  • Ask specific inquiries to clients to rapidly determine the source of the issue
  • Assist our Customer Success agents in analyzing and advising clients on service issues
  • To resolve the issue, communicate with clients using several modalities such as phone, email, or live chat
  • Send unsolved issues to the appropriate internal teams in a systematic manner
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple open issues at the same time
  • Using available technologies, work on optimization and automation tasks across several projects (Ansible)

Skills Required

  • Good knowledge and experience with Windows server
  • Experience with Plesk
  • Experience with critical web systems like IIS, ASP.NET, NodeJS, Tomcat, MailEnable
  • Experience with (CMS) such as WordPress, Magento, and Codeigniter
  • Should have an understanding of how network technologies work (IPv4, IPv6, BGP, routing, bridging, proxies, firewalls)
  • Should be able to understand and read email RFC, HTTP, DNS
  • Should be able to understand and write scripts in Python, PHP, Bash, or other programming languages
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • A constant learner who is not scared to take on new challenges
