Software Engineer
Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred UHG facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.)? Will they start remote due to covid? Remote sue to COVID but otherwise it is Irvine CA or Schaumberg IL.

What does the team make-up look like – how many members and what is the break-down of the team’s skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? Scrum teams are in the range of 6 – 8 members.

Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what’s being done?

Working as production support for all the formulary .NET application on a rotation basis
Will be working on Formulary .NET application development

What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Cloud experience and .NET capabilities.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Working on a scrum team as a full stack engineer.
Design and develop reusable software modules that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
Assist in defining product technical architecture.
Maintain and document deliverables in Rally as needed
Participate in peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products and scrum ceremonies
Perform software quality assurance, including all types of testing

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Technical knowledge is the key

What skills/attributes are a must have (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)?
4 or more years of experience working as a .NET development
4 or more years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
3 or more years of experience with REST APIs
3 or more years of experience with SQL
3 or more years of experience with Microsoft SQL server, SSRS, ASP fromework
2 or more years of experience in Cloud development

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Knowledge about Azure Cloud platform
Knowledge about DevOps, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform
Knowledge of Test automation tools like Cucumber

What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) Its flexible. 8am – 4pm
