JOB DETAIL

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the Technical Support position. Technical Support Engineers troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback, and support the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.

Moreover, Technical Support Engineers need to talk to customers directly, as well as create written documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication.

To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. If you re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we d like to meet you.

Roles Responsibilities

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.

  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Testing and evaluating new technologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Ready to work in Canadian Shift.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS environments.
  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
