Technical Skills and Competencies Required:

 

 

 

- 4 years Oracle PL/SQL development experience includingexperience in each of the following areas:

 

- Creating and maintaining large packages, storedprocedures, functions, record structures, tables, views, indexes and triggers

 

- PL/SQL development, unit testing, code troubleshooting anddebugging

 

- Query performance tuning

 

- Database design

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Technology, Information Systems(CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technicaldiscipline, or equivalent experience/training

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

 

• This position is responsible for implementing businesslogic in Oracle DB packages, functions and procedures that supports the development,deployment and support of large mission critical enterprise Web applications

 

• Involved in all phases of the software lifecycle with anemphasis ondatabase logic implementation and design

 

• Assisting in the design of the application architecturewith a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance

 

• Following established coding standards and namingconventions
