Analyze, develop, enhance and maintain QAD Enterprise applications. Includes creation of design specification, development and unit testing of source code, schema design, prototyping when needed and documentation.
Perform analysis to define requirements for new features or modifications including affected programs, expected behavior, related document changes and test scenarios.
Performs maintenance and enhancement of new and/or existing software systems or product modules, on QAD supported platforms,
Prepares program documentation of product components.
Establishes technical proficiency in design, implementation, and unit testing.
Strives to increase application knowledge
Follows QAD development standards
Performs related duties as required
Functions as member of a remote project team
Qualifications
IT background (BE, B.Sc IT, M.Sc, BCA, MCA) or Non IT background with appropriate certification. Cleared your graduation in the first attempt
2 to 6 years experience as a Front end / UI Developer
IT skills such as JavaScriptT/ TypeScipt is mandatory.
Basic understanding of Progress 4GL is desirable but not mandatory
Experience in full stack development (both UI and Back End business logic)
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, RDBMS is mandatory
Functional and general concept of Supply chain and / or ERP is good to have
Excellent spoken written English skills
Exposure to ERP applications is desirable
Understanding of client server and API architecture
Working knowledge of any Development IDE
Basic knowledge of any one software source control like Git,CVS,SVN,VSTS)
Preferred basic knowledge of any one build tools like Jenkins,Maven,Gradle,Bamboo
