8-10 years of working experience in I.S. or related field or Possess three or more approved certifications within job area.
Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow products - ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SECOPS, ITBM, and GRC
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot systems in any of our programming languages and environments
Has demonstrated ability to gain business acumen in order to make good judgements
Ability to own and operate a mission-critical service, and appropriately respond to incidents and prioritization requests thereof
Writes complex code on a daily basis that contributes to the success of software development projects, as instructed by leads or managers
Willingness to follow our change management process to ensure system reliability is maintained
Ability to monitor, optimize health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform
Be able to maintain technical expertise in relevant industry standards, ServiceNow best practices, and new or improved ServiceNow solutions or features
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, XML or JSON
Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools, applications or using SOAP and REST APIs
Ability to configure and enhance core application, including, but not limited to, platform UIs such as service portal, platform portal, and mobile applications, parent tables, forms, lists, catalogs, workflows, roles, system properties, business rules, reports, and dashboards
Experience configuring and enhancing all aspects of ServiceNow such as workflow, user interface (UI), client scripts, business rules, and more, utilizing out-of-the-box functionality as much as possible and only customizing when necessary
Experience with maintaining and developing using lower level environments, including the use of cloning, update sets, and import/exports
Familiarity with configuring, maintaining, monitoring and enhancing the CMDB, including out of the box and other discovery methods
Ability to upgrade the system version successfully with implementation standards during all phases of the upgrade, for both low level and production instances
Ability to work well with team members, product SMEs and other customers
Preferred Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
