Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of IT experience in developinghigh-performance, high-volume software systems for the fixed income financialservices industry.

Principal Responsibilities:
The DTCC Senior Software Engineer(SSE) appliesspecific technical knowledge in order to assist in the design and constructionof critical systems. The SSE works as part of an project team and may interactwith the business, Functional Architects, and subject matter experts on relatedsystems. The SSE will contribute to the design of components or individualprograms, and participates fully in the construction and testing. This involvesworking with the Senior Application Architect, and other technical contributorsat all levels. This position contributes expertise to project teams through allphases, including post-deployment support. This meansre searching specifictechnologies, and applications, and contributing to the solution design,supporting development teams, testing, troubleshooting, and productionsupport. The ASD must possess good communication skills and be able towork well on a team. This position requires working closely with thefunctional and governance functions, and more senior technical resources,reviewing technical designs and specifications, and contributing to costestimates and schedules.
