JOB DETAIL

  • Develop the Company Quality Manual and other relevant procedures.

  • Define internal processes with focus on critical to safety and critical to quality processes.

  • Work to achieve relevant ISO 9001 and IATF Quality System Certifications.

  • Plan, coordinate, manage, and review internal quality audits to ensure high-level alignment of operational practices and defined procedures and methodologies.

  • Support company departments for the definition of their internal operative procedures and instructions to ensure clarity in language, and adequate filing and updating.

  • Define internal document formats, type of content, approval and issuing procedure, updating and archiving.

  • Support the definition of external document formats, their coherence in practical use, in accordance with the company policy.

  • Form and lead QA/QC committees for salvage protocols, QMS maintenance etc.

  • Maintain road map for continuous quality improvement of company processes company products.

  • Coordinate and manage continuous improvement activities related to quality including 8D s, Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, etc.

  • Coordinate the definition, training, and application of quality-related methodologies and approaches such as DOE, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8-Ds, SPC.

  • Create vendor audit strategies and execute the same at vendor facilities

  • Create a company dashboard for quality KPI in collaboration with the other quality managers and relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate with the internal vehicle safety group to optimize the connection between quality and safety policies.


Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in relevant Engineering field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems

  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality management role within automitve or safety-critical companies.

  • Excellent knowledge, understanding, and experience in ISO 9000 and strong knowledge of other International Quality Standards (ISO, IATF, TS, IAFT, IEEE, IEC, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC; Six Sigma)

  • Ability to act independently, assume responsibility, and drive processes within a cross-functional, complex environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives .

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive process improvement .
