Candidates will work closely with engineering leadership, operations, and data science to build intelligence in the system. This will involve constant learning and application to solve business problems. This position will require the candidate to be an out of the box thinker, intellectually curious, and with great attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications:

We are a startup and expect each team member to wear multiple hats, take initiative, and spot and solve problems.

• 3+ years experience as hands-on Data engineer

• 3+ years of experience handling large and complex datasets

• Integration of data storage solutions

• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture

• Good understanding of server-side templating languages

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python

• Experience with cloud-based services and enterprise software environments.

• Strong problem solving, attention to detail and data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor s in technology / Engineering OR Master s in Computer Science

• Good communication skills

• Plus if the candidate has AWS and/or NLP experience
