•    Previous experience with mainframe systems and filemanagement.
•    Application development experience in design, coding,testing and debugging using mainframe related skills and tools.
•    Ability to analyze and develop code for the mainframesystem to support various projects.
•    Be willing to learn legacy mainframe applications inorder to provide support.
•    Be willing to learn integration technologies thatsupport the mainframe system and external systems.  
•    Experience working with multiple team members (TeamLead, Business Analyst, Developer, DBA, System Architect, Project Manager).
•    Determines time estimates, timeline for work, andprovides status updates as requested.
•    Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issuesand risks affecting own work and work of the team.
•    Demonstrate patience and humility with the ability toexercise constraint in stressful situations
