•            Standing up and administering Kubernetes and Kafka Clusters.

•            Experience is administering both Apache and Confluent Kafka clusters.

•            Thorough knowledge of Kafka architecture and its components.

•            Experience in setting up (installation) and upgrading Kafka Clusters.

•            Experience in capacity planning and performance tuning of Kafka clusters.

•            Implemented Kafka Producers/Consumers utilizing Java and other supporting technologies.

•            Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions.           

•            Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices

•            Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters

•            Handling customer queries and troubleshoot Kafka related issues.

•            Work with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Storm

•            Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, Docker, and Chef.

•            Good communication and interpersonal skills.
