- Extensive working experience in Ruby on Rails programming along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
- Shall have strong practical knowledge on Linux
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Liquid, Slim, etc.
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and any one is framework like Angular or reactJS
- Shall have experience on Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Experience with Solid skills in backend development and REST APIs
- Ability to design data models and work collaboratively with other teams.
- Complete understanding of how to write secure code and an awareness of common web application security vulnerabilities.
