·Hands-on experience building reliable services that work at scale.

·Strong experience in Big Data technologies Spark, Hive, Hadoop platforms

·Proficient in Scala, with understanding of recent language features and frameworks. Expertise at building jobs with Apache Spark is desirable.

·Proficient in development using SQL, Hive, Sparksql

·Experience on AWS cloud including S3.

·Experience in building/Optimising data modules and pipelines

·Knowledge on UNIX /     

·Familiarity with development tools - experience on either IntelliJ / Eclipse IDE, Build Tool Maven/Gradle

·Good to have experience with Distributed Versioning Control environments such as GIT

·Good to have knowledge about Apache iceberg, Kafka

·Ability to Work with Business to define key business requirements and convert to technical specifications
