Job Description

• Profile & Analyze Source Data (Mainframe Extracts, flat files, SQL Server, Web services etc.) usage using Informatica ETL
• Analyzing and evaluating data sources, data volume and business rules
• Automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring
• Extraction, transformation and load of data using ETL tools.
• Configure/Script Business rules and transformation rules in Informatica.
• Design, development of ETL Informatica jobs as per the Business requirements
• Understanding the data model, designing the model for EDW, mapping the data and running the ETL jobs
• Ensure appropriate level of Unit Test and System Test of all deliverables.
• Understanding of deployment process of both Informatica PowerCenter and IICS jobs
• Knowledge in version control tools like Bitbucket, Git etc and knowledge of branching and check-in of code
• Defect fixes for System Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Production

Other Skills Required:

• Good experience in Defect tracking tool
• Experience in Design and implementation of complex ETL processes.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
• Good Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Any Graduate with degree in Engineering/Science
• A great communicator of ideas and solutions and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues.
