JOB DETAIL

*local candidates strongly preferred

*candidate must be available to work onsite 2-3 days every week, NO exceptions

 

Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the contractor vendors to ensure the quality of our SAAS solution
• Support/lead user acceptance testing and ensure that test cases and scenarios are created and kept up to date
• Work on the state-based exchange platform implementation and other SAAS solutions, including our website, learning management system, and email marketing platform
• Conduct manual and automated testing to validate the functionality and performance of the software
• Analyze test results and report on the status of the software's quality
• Identify, document, and coordinate with the development/technical team to resolve defects in the software
• Assist with the planning and coordination of testing activities
• Identify and advocate for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process

 

SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing
  • Experience with health and human services or health insurance applications and processes is a plus (CMS, HHS, Medicaid Agency)
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and tools (e.g. JIRA, TFS, Cucumber)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading user acceptance testing and managing test cases/scenarios
  • Experience working with contract vendors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
