The Technical Specialist is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology. This position opening requires strong Data Architecture, Java, PL/SQL, Microsoft Access, IBM Cognos, and others. The primary purpose is to provide development and support of Java and PL/SQL procedures and applications in Oracle 12c, with the primary purpose of developing and automating ETL processes, scheduled data clean-up and maintenance routines, ad hoc data transformations, imports, reporting, and the support of various legacy PL/SQL based web applications.  This position also serves as a support developer for Java Web Applications under the guidance and direction of Senior Developers.  Java frameworks utilized in OSBM include GWT/Spring/Hibernate.  This position reports to the OSBM CIO but will also take direction from the Business Systems Analyst who interacts between the IT team and the business.
