Duties: DevOps Engineer

 

?        Provide hands-on support for USM-IS teams by assisting with the deployment of cloud infrastructure and application assets using CI/CD processes –

?        Strong SRE background and experience

?        Help define common GIT branching / merging strategy across teams

?        Ensure PVS Testing and Failover/Stability testing is in place prior to production Support production deployments

 

Skills: 

 

?        Strong ability to design and implement AWS cloud environments with expert knowledge on the following: SRE Principles, Jenkins Pipelines, GIT, Deployment of Java applications

 

Technology experience:

 

?        AWS Cloud (certification preferred), Open Shift containers, Terraform, Sonar Qube (or equivalent), Check marx (or equivalent),Maven, Arti factory, Quay (or equivalent)

?        Hands-on Linux skills; Ansible tower and databases such as RDBMS and NOSQL

?        Excellent communication skills (written & oral) to prepare clear presentations, technical specifications, status, and other written artifacts
