Describe the impact this role has within the bank/LOB:
In this role, the expectation is to work on data intensive Applications that support business and regulatory requirements.
Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing daily:
The role requires proficiency in designing and programming applications using java and Oracle backend.
Team player who will coordinate and work with Development, platform teams and LoB to help keep the project on track.
Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to challenging situations.
Describe the required must have technical skills, tools, or experience:
8+ years of development experience
Full Stack Java development skills using JDK 8 including Angular, Springboot, Hibernate, Microservices, Servlets, JSP, Mockito
Experience in developing, testing, and deploying java applications to Appservers like Tomcat and/or openshift
Experience in developing and implementing APIs DevOps toolchain skills for development, testing and deploying software; eg Git, Udeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
Proficiency in developing and debugging the PL/SQL Code.
Ability to lead, team player, excellent communication written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree required
Is there any skills you are willing to flex on if a candidate does not have it?
Experience with no SQL Databases like Mongo DB Basic Python programming is a plus.
Hands on knowledge with UNIX shell scripting and CA7 job scheduler
Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.
