JOB DETAIL

  1. Must have 10 years of experience working for US companies.
  2. Must have 4 years of 'Recent' Banking experience (Since 2016).
  3. Must have recent experience performing Level 3 support (The highest-level Support).
  4. These positions are for a 'Global' unit. Consultants must have experience working 'Constantly' with DB's of 30TB or more (Not Less).
  5. Experience working with large-scale enterprise application setup across Data centers.
  6. Must have a Minimum of 10 years conducting general database administration tasks (e.g., DB implementation, DB code deployments, DB backups, creation of DB user accounts).
  7. Minimum of 7 years' experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
  8. Must have experience as a Functional & Application DBA.
  9. Must have at least 5 years administering database platform specific advanced features (e.g., Clustering, encryption, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication) and performance optimizing server database servers and SQL code.
  10. Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a SQL DBA Role with multiple databases and SQL development experience.
  11. Proficient in MS SQL Server 2014 - 2019.
  12. SSIS Package creation and debugging skills.
  13. Stored procedure development and tuning.
  14. Data replication exposure.
  15. Indexes:
  16. When users complain about the performance of a particular query, help developers improve the performance of that query by tweaking it or modifying indexes.
  17. Conduct SQL Server lunch-and-learn sessions for application developers.
  18. Advise developers on the most efficient database designs (tables, datatypes, stored procedures, functions, etc).

 
Consultant must have experience:
1) Writing and improving SQL Server T-SQL queries for at least a year. You willbe known amongst the office as the go-to person for T-SQL questions.
2) Designing tables and picking datatypes of Using Profiler traces and othertools to find the most frequently run queries.
3) Using free tools like sp_BlitzIndex and DMV queries to answer questionsabout index usage.
4) On-call troubleshooting for SQL Server service outages.
5) Deciding whether clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication, etc arethe right fit to solve a business problem.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in relevant domain is required, or Master's level degreepreferred.
