We need data modeler capable to work with PowerDesigner.
Data modeler will be working on the conceptual, logical data model and taxonomy of the business area labeled as “Business of IT”. The business area is several processes related to management IT operation, mainly financial, investment and people management of the IT organization.
We would appreciate the experience with building large scale and complex data model of the analytical type (DWH like).
The plus would be the knowledge of the Business of IT area.
Time zone preferences: the rest of the team is in Prague and US – so the person should be able to work in this two time zones at least partially.
Build/Design the model in the Power Designer as a documentation for the architecture decision on the application and process eco-system
Interaction with Business of IT stakeholders. One person should be matured enough to lead the discussion with managers/business people to extract understanding what data entities and relationship (ER modeling) exist in business.
Technical and will be detailing the conceptual and logical data model based on the information collected from managers and business people.
Agile, two weeks sprint. Usually during the spring we select the business domain.
(e.g. Process of Investment management and analyze documentation on application that support individual parts of the process, documentation on the business process, interview with business SMEs, and designing the entities for the conceptual data model)
