• 5+ years of experience in creating data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) in legacy BI applications and modern Cloud based data platforms
• Strong data modeling experience in Cloud based EDW platforms (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Big Query etc.)
• Expert knowledge with data mapping, transformation, SQL and implementing physical and relational data models
• Hands on expertise with SQL, NoSQL, Data Structures (XML, JSON, RDBMS, Paquet), Delta Lake and Synapse
• Experience in creating data models using tools such as Erwin 
• Strong understanding of relational data concepts, star schema, relationships, and cardinalities
• Knowledge of industry standards such as Kimball architecture, Data vault etc. 
• Exposure to Power BI is a plus


Responsibilities
• Capture business requirements and translate to technical functional and non-functional requirements
• Work with business and application / solution teams to develop conceptual / logical / physical data models
